I have a qualification in BA (Hons) Special Effects Make-up Artistry, as well a level 4 & 5 FdA in Special Effects Make-up Artistry.

 

My studies on the BA (Hons) course have allowed me to work with advanced materials such as bust and armature sculpture, life casting, silicone moulding and casting, advanced chemicals and mould making processes such as fibre glass and carbon fibre, in the creation of full facial prosthetics and bust creation.

 

My current works include a complete character including full facial prosthetics based on the Graeae Witches, and a realism bust replica of an ancient Egyptian mummy.

My freelance experience includes collaborating with a film student applying causality makeup and hairstyling, gaining experience working on set. I have worked in a theatre applying wigs and makeup on acts, as well gaining experience on speed run. I have collaborated with a medical university in Liverpool producing causality FX on models to help train medical students.

My qualifications and freelance experience have allowed me to gain skills such as silicone painting, the designing and construction of silicone prosthetics, applications, and mould making.
